Rarely the first therapist you see might not be as good at their job as another, so if you really hate the first you see it's okay to try seeing another instead

im super curious abt the concept of metaphysics bc the only introduction i got was a bunch of people telling me how it was dumb

I personally think metaphysics are highly subjective; what's "real" and what isn't real is also influenced by your subjective version of reality.

You could also argue that tulpamancy is a metaphysical practice, it depends on the person. Some people believe in a purely psychologically-explainable experience, while others like to believe in and incorporate more supernatural or spiritual aspects.

I've met a lot of spiritual systems in my time in the general plural community, and I do see spiritual tulpamancy systems out there, but it's less common here.

We're a generally psychological system who incorporates small, more inconsequential supernatural beliefs to our plurality, personally. I really do wish to explore them more, but it's also not terribly vital to us.

That's fair. We were planning on going into psychology, so scientific explanations for things is nice for us to have, since it gives us some sort of concrete "proof". However, psychology and spirituality can be very closely linked at times, and it's important to understand how these two sides of things interact on the mind.

Using it for specific subs can be OK, but using it generally is a mistake. It's better than Twitter or whatever, but it's still astroturfed to hell and back and filled with the exceptionally stupid. (edited)

I don't really see a point in getting into reddit, i don't have a lot to gain from it I post my art on twitter, my personal stuff on instagram, and my music on video and audio sharing sites, and i converse on discord Reddit would just be an extra thing that i wouldn't really use, and if i did end up using it a lot it would really eat into my time

We just use reddit once or twice every few months to comment on tulpa stuff

Ben used to be very active back in the day on r/tulpas.

We use reddit regularly for niche interests, it's not bad at all. Good way to get info or help on stuff, and we do use the search function to find relevant old posts
